Kids Thanksgiving Table Ideas

November 7, 2016 by Cara

This Thanksgiving, I am all about showing you, parents, how to make the coolest kids’ table this holiday with some easy tweaks on dinner favorites. Did you see my Thanksgiving Stuffing Cupcakes? That is just the beginning! Up next: Pumpkin Pie, Sweet Potato Casserole, Squash Turkeys, and a fun-themed Vegetable Dip, to name a few. Today, I wanted to showcase how to dress the table and create the most FUN holiday table with these Kids Thanksgiving Table Ideas using Cheeky paper serveware. Guaranteed to make even the adults jealous they aren’t younger.

Cheeky is a product I love and adore, not only because it has a new kids line that is beyond adorable but also because for every product you purchase, they give a meal to No Kid Hungry (helping feed the hungry children in America), a cause so near and dear to the Fork and Beans’ heart. So let’s get going and start playing with these Kids Thanksgiving Table Ideas!

Here are my top FIVE Kids Thanksgiving Table Ideas that will make this holiday not only fun but special for your children:

1. Brown Paper Table Cloth. First and foremost, lay the table down with brown paper as a table cloth. Why is this a good idea? Glad you asked! Many reasons but I will give you two: A). It’s keeps the table clean when all is said and done with. Just take it off the table and throw everything away. Piece of cake!; and B). It gives a GREAT base for the kids to draw on the paper. Kids love coloring and what better time to draw when eating. Case closed!

2. Pilgrims Hat Marker Holders. What good is a table cloth made of brown paper if there are no markers to pair with it? These hat cuties are easy to put together and create the most festive holders for markers for writing on the table.

3. Turkey Veggie Cups. Using brown construction paper to cover the Cheeky cup, these adorned turkey are the perfect holder for multi-colored sliced bell peppers posing as feathers. Add a serving of my vegan Ranch Dressing and you have a perfect, healthy appetizer option for your little ones.  Just follow the instructions below to create.

5. DIY Edible Cornucopias. Keeping your kids preoccupied while they wait for dinner to be served can be a bit tricky. This is why you should have the brown paper table cloth down with markers to draw all over. Another great edible craft is to have them create their own edible cornucopias. Fill with candy or healthier treats (you decide) and let the kids stuff (and eat!) their very own cornucopia.
