Or how about this: School is out and your kids come home in desperate need of a nutritious and (easy-for-you-to-make) snack, stat! I’ve got just the idea for you. These Sprouted Seed crackers are a perfect nut free option for your little ones to bring to school for lunch or even a mid-day snack. They contain a blend of sprouted sunflower, flax and chia seeds filled with 3g of protein. So, whether you’re enjoying an afternoon snack or you’re packing a perfect lunch for your little one, you can feel good about this delicious and satisfying snack.

For the Snackables, I used a small 8 oz, wide mouthed mason jar, filled with tahini-free hummus. I added the Simple Mills crackers to an empty individual applesauce container and twisted it to the top of the jar. This way, your kids can grab-and-go a healthy, allergen friendly snack and throw it into their lunchbox. So simple and easy!* Now, if you want to take this to the next level and go full-fledged Animal Cracker Snackables, you can choose one of your favorite animals (or all!) and go for it. Follow the ingredients list for whichever animal of your choosing to turn an after school nosh into the cutest, healthy snack.

*Don’t forget the gluten free cookies from Simple Mills too!
