Thank you Cara for the wonderful recipes you share with us. We are working to be gluten free, dairy free and egg free as well as low glycemic. Have you ever considered adding a low glycemic category to your recipes? Again, many thanks.

carla, what kind of sugar did you use for your pita bread recipe, just trying to figure out what went wrong.

carla, I am having a terrible time making the pita bread, I did not use superfine brown rice flour, and I used your flour blend. did not rise properly and so on, I added more flour and yeast. Should I start over. Please help.

Hi Linda! Sorry to hear you had troubles with this recipe
If your dough did not rise properly either your water was too hot or too cold for the yeast. Usually you need the temp somewhere between 95-110 degrees. And if you are confident it was, then you might have had old yeast. The finely ground rice flour (or lack of) should not have affected the yeast rise (which, because it is gluten-free) will not rise beautifully the way gluten flour will. Hopefully this helps!

Hi Tracy! You can find the pastry wheel at any cooking section of any store, like Target or WalMart, etc. Here is a link for one online just in case though: http://www.amazon.com/Wilton-2103-355-Pastry-Wheel/dp/B001BO76HO/ref=sr_1_6?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1348842380&sr=1-6&keywords=pastry+cutters
