Raw Chocolate Cream Pies

August 13, 2012 by Cara

There are a few words/phrases that you will *never* hear come out of my mouth. I’m not sure why I’m so opposed to them but I just find it rather foreign to bring myself to ever saying them.

Take “LOL” for example. I simply cannot bring myself to texting this…ever. I don’t ever make a noise that remotely sounds like LOL so why in the world would I say it? If something is funny, I write “hahaha” because that is what I do when I laugh. I “ha.” Having said that, there are few exceptions when circumstances are called for such words.

This raw chocolate pudding, for example, is an exception all on its own. Dare I say that this freaking recipe is BOMB (something else I completely refuse to say) but in this case, it’s:

Off the Hook.

Off the Chain.

Sick.

Delish.

Amazeballs.

Bomb diggity.

Yeah, *that* good…

If you want the recipe to this unbelievably decadent dessert, you can find it over here at the GoodVeg.

Some for meeee? Why, thank you!
Now, let me tell you about a pie that I helped make last week: raspberry peach chocolate pie. The raspberries jumped out of the grocery store freezer instead of the cranberries, but we managed 😉

I’m the same way- a strict hahaha-er. Lol tends to remind me of my middle school days… not something I particularly want to relive!

Anywaay, the real reason I’m here is because that pie looks amazing. I am ashamed to say I’ve never made a raw dessert, but this one right here might have to pop my cherry 🙂

Hi Ruby! No need to be ashamed! It’s never too late to try out a raw dessert for the first time 🙂 So excited that you might be testing it out. Let me know how you like it! xo

HA!!! Yes, thank you. I absolutely despise LOL. If you are LOLing you would be saying “haha” or “hehe” which takes just about as much time to write. I actually cannot tell you if I have EVER said LOL other than in this comment here 🙂 haha
Regardless, these pies look incredible and I would totally mess one of these up if given the chance! Going to check out the recipe now!

I will say that I have used LOL twice in my life…because I in fact did LOL in a grandiose way and it was well-deserved to write it 🙂

I never LOL either. My mom does it (actually, most of my family does it) and it drives me absolutely insane. I’m all, ARE YOU REALLY LAUGHING OUT LOUD??? Because if not, no such expression should be used.

Raw chocolate pie, yom! I’ve been making a breakfast version with brownie crust. So, so good. You rule.

    • Cara

      August 13, 2012 at 8:20 am

Um no, YOU rule! I wanna eat that brownie crust for breakfast please. Come make it for me 🙂

    August 13, 2012 at 7:23 am

haha..i never say LOL either. always hahaha..or when it’s something hilarious- bahahahaha!

    • Cara

      August 13, 2012 at 8:17 am

Bahahaha is my LOL. That is reserved for something that makes me spit when I laugh 🙂
