Scarecrow Snack Packs

November 6, 2018 by Cara

These Scarecrow Snack Packs make the perfect lunch box addition, after school snack, or even a creative and relatively healthy option to bring in to your kid’s classroom. They require a little more TLC to assemble but I promise you that they are incredibly fun to put together and once you see how your kids and their friends react to them, they are worth the time spent!

I actually saw these DIY Scarecrow Snack Packs on Pinterest and KNEW I had to recreate them. They are beyond adorable and are probably my most favorite Thanksgiving creation by far. Well, they are in a tie with my Caramel Pear Turkey Legs. And maybe my Turkey Veggie Platter. Or even my Thanksgiving Stuffing Cupcakes. Okay, so apparently there are many fun choices to choose from! But these scarecrows are a collection of four different snacks for kids all rolled into one (which makes them so awesome!):

  1. apple sauce
  2. fruit rolls
  3. juice box
  4. raisins

Here are all the materials that you will need to put build them into the scarecrows that they were destined to be:

The materials you will need are:

  • googly eyes
  • raffia
  • orange construction paper
  • black construction paper
  • blue construction paper
  • yellow construction paper
  • glue
  • tape
  • black sharpie
  • scissors
For the assembly of the scarecrow applesauce head:

For the assembly of the scarecrow juice box body:

For the assembly of the scarecrow arms:

For the complete assembly of the Scarecrow Snack Packs:

And that is it! You did it and now you have created the BEST snack option of your kid’s entire classroom! Now what are you waiting for? Go buy some applesauce packs, juice boxes, fruit roll ups, and raisins and get your Thanksgiving craft on…

If you make these on Instagram, please tag me @forkandbeans. I LOVE seeing all of your recreations!
