Believe it or not, I picked up your book today at the library! I wasn’t looking for any gluten free books or even cookbooks. My daughter loves to bake, and I thought the pictures were inviting and would be great for her to learn about baking gluten free! We are going to try the Key Lime Cheesecake Bars first, and then pumpkin muffins, and then mini donuts, and then… Fingers crossed we win so we don’t have to keep renewing this book.

Since having to change my diet due to health reasons for a little over 4 years, it is sometimes tricky to find or create tasty vegan/vegetarian sugar-free, gluten-free, and corn-free appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Until we stumbled upon a few recipes via twitter and pinterest; the rest is a happy history of refreshing and creative meals and snacks. The blog has been a lifesaver for inspirations for our household. I am soOOo looking forward to sharing this with my love ones and designing more healthy meal and snack ideas from your new cookbook.

I went Gluten Free, Egg Free, Dairy Free, Sugar Free, over a year and a half ago. I was “lucky” in that those foods caused so much pain to me that I HAD to give them up cold turkey. I’ve recently removed nightshades and soy. I am finally coming up for air and thinking it’s time to start GF Vegan baking to add some comfort with nutrition noless to my nutrional plan! How wonderfully timely this book would be! Thank you!!
    Best to all!

  178. Robin

    August 16, 2014 at 9:58 am

GF, egg free and dairy free dessert recipes can be hard to find, not very tasty, and are usually quite complicated and filled with so many darn exotic and or hard to find ingredients. But yours sound just the opposite, delish, mostly they are easy and I don’t have to order the ingredients in your recipes from three different websites. How do you do it? I can’t wait to get this book and find out. I have Hashimoto’s and really need to be GF, we are primarily vegetarian and I have a little one who’s allergic to dairy, eggs and peanut. I feel like this book is going to be a total game changer for us and our whole family. We LOVE dessert and baked goods but what’s the point if they don’t taste amazing? Seriously can’t wait to try and thank you Cara for bringing your way of cooking and baking to the masses. ❤️

Just wanted to let you know, I am looking through your cookbook now and it is absolutely WONDERFUL!!! I knew it would be coming out soon, so I requested it from the library as soon as they received their copy. I was just recently diagnosed as gluten intolerant (plus I am allergic to eggs, cinnamon, coconut, corn and intolerant to sodium), as if that wasn’t enough. So, am looking for any and all help. I really appreciate everything you have done and I feel as if I am a kid in a candy store. Keep up the good work!
