Melting Snowmen Whipped Topping

November 26, 2018 by Cara

Put a smile on your child’s face this holiday by turning truwhip into festive Melting Snowmen Whipped Topping! Pairs perfectly with your favorite hot chocolate.

RELATED: Hot Chocolate Spoons

Scoop out an approximate 1/4 c. of truwhip topping (I used the non-dairy/vegan version but they have something for everyone!) This should get you 5 scoops from one tub. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze immediately.

Decorate 5 marshmallows with snowmen faces from melted chocolate. Allow to completely set (this should only take a matter of minutes). Remove the whipped topping scoops from the freezer and gently but firmly add the marshmallow faces on top until they are secure. Place back in the freezer.

Using 1 strawberry flavored fruit roll, cut into 5 thin strips. Remove the snowmen from the freezer again and place the “scarves” around each neck. Freeze again and allow to set for at least 30 minutes-overnight.

Once you are ready to enjoy, prepare your hot chocolate (you can use this super cool recipe for Hot Chocolate Spoons or even this Chocolate Peppermint Tea Latte recipe). Pull the snowmen out from the freezer, place on top of the drink, and serve immediately.

Keep your holidays free from high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils with truwhip. It’s also gluten free and non GMO so the only thing you have to worry about is how many of the Melting Snowmen Whipped Topping your kids get to consume in one sitting.
