Oatmeal Owls

July 22, 2015 by Cara

Because sometimes a plain bowl of oatmeal just doesn’t cut it. When those days occur, make Oatmeal Owls! I’m a big fan of oatmeal art and these owls are an easy way to add some extra fruits into your little one’s breakfast and also add a superstar smile to start off their day. It’s such a great choice for a gluten/egg/soy/dairy-free breakfast (with a nut free option). Allergic to nuts? Simply replace the almond slices with sunflower seeds and use the tip of a strawberry for the nose. That’s why this idea is so great! There’s always another way to recreate Oatmeal Owls with your child’s food allergies in mind.

Oatmeal Owls (a fun kids' animal-shaped breakfast) that will guaranteed to put a smile on your kid's face!

You’ll get such a kick out of your breakfast looking back at you with such a smug look on its face. Check out how to make these Oatmeal Owls here:

I am embarrassed to say I will be doing this for my hubby. He is supposed to eat more oatmeal(Dr’s orders) and has a hard time “liking” that order. This will put a smile on his face, and healthy too.
