Donut Cookies

June 5, 2015 by Cara

Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear donuts, happy birthday to YOU! Have you heard? Today is National Donut Day and all I need is a candle made out of a maple bar. Ooey-gooey frosting dripping down and coated with sprinkle but instead I present to you cookies. Donut Cookies, that is. Just as good. Well, that’s debatable…

Fun allergen-friendly donut cookies, waiting to be dunked!

And since I just made a great gluten free roll out cookie dough recipe last week, I figured instead of actual donuts I could make cookies made to LOOK LIKE donuts, topped with tons of melted chocolate (Enjoy Life, but of course) and nondairy white chocolate and…sprinkles. Sprinkles and more sprinkles. YES.

Did someone say sprinkles? Excuse me, I’m just conditioned to a mind-altering mood when I hear the word.
